Besides the occasional "potty accident" and temper tantrum my day was fairly easy. I mean, if you consider breaking up fights between three kids under the age of 5, changing diapers, a mountain of dishes and clothes, and the NEVER ending cleaning, easy...then yeah, my day was easy. Even on the weekends Mom's like me get no time off.
On the bright side, Haiden has had no accidents today. Knock on wood!
There are other issues I ran into today that I am having trouble dealing with. Being the "man in the middle" is definitely no fun at all. How do you balance life between the one you love and your own sibling? You'd think that someone MIGHT not bite the hand that feeds them. I know...what a used up saying, but the shoe really does fit. Ugh...there I go again. Let see what else pertains to this situation. "I scratch your back you scratch mine". "Hell hath no fury like a women been scorned". "Once a cheater always a cheater"...sort of. Wow the amount of cliches that can describe one situation. The list goes on...just not on my blog.
Really, its time to play hard ball. I guess its not as hard to do when you aren't necessarily dependent on the person that's dependent on you. Yes, I benefit from the situation, but its not crucial for me that things work out. For you, that's just simply not the case. Seriously, it is my house and following my rules aren't too much to ask for, right? Especially if the rules are, No stealing from me or any other person who lives here. Put the gas back in the car that you you take out. Clean up after yourself, and don't eat all my damn food. If you're staying here rent free, utilities free, and everything else free, then follow my rules. The rules are simple, very simple. So please, don't SCREW ME OVER!!!!
SIGH*
